A mix of urban fantasy and Aboriginal mythology, Animism is something of a modern day Narnia that sprawls across a range of media. The story traces the journey of Mel Ravensfall as she grows from disaffected teenager to a relic hunter in the mold of Lara Croft.

CHALLENGE
We wanted to create the series pilot using a motion comic aesthetic… something not often done for broadcast television. This required redefining a conventional animation pipeline to allow us to work with not just a new medium, but new artists from around the world.
SOLUTIONS
The pilot episode has drawn rave reviews from our broadcast partner and was selected as a finalist at SXSW 2011 and nominated for a 2011 Leo Award. The televised premiere of season one is scheduled for spring 2012.
